Pool Time

Finally the water felt warm enough to be really comfortable for Nina. She loves the water!! Front, back, floating, standing, she is like a little fish. We even dunked a couple times and she never fussed. What a wonderful water baby!

Happy 7 Months!

Yes, another month gone by... Now we have a baby who can sit a few seconds on her own, gnaws on any food we give her, and giggles at tickles and new faces. (Edited pics to be posted later...)

Swinging Nina

Nina loves to bounce and swing! She doesn't quite understand how it all works, but she sure lights up with giggles and grins when she's airborne.

Nina is trying so hard to sit up by herself... but she needs a little more practice. At least she's not afraid of falling!

Bouncing Baby

This baby has figured out how much fun her Jumperoo can be! Her legs get pumping and she goes bouncing. She also gets a good workout reaching up to all the dangling toys.

Playtime

There was no shortage of fun at the cottage, even on rainy days. Nina discovered her feet, making them her new favorite toys. She spent lots of time with her new book, just like Mommy. She made friends with Maddick (even if the feeling wasn't mutual), and she lounged with her cousin while watching the world cup. This is one busy baby!

Beach Party

This girl is a social butterfly! She loves a big crowd. The amazing thing is that even with the sun up and the band playing she managed to fall asleep.

Beach Time

Mornings at the beach were very windy, so Nina stayed warm in her cozy bear hoody. Once it warmed up she was ready to play with Daddy in the sand and have a nap in her tent.

Happy Fourth

Nina attended her first Fourth of July parade in Harbor Springs, Michigan. It was a little chilly even in the sunshine, so she was happily bundled for her nap on the go.

Family Time

Nina loves meeting new people, especially her family. She got reacquainted with Fannie, and met her Cincinnati cousins Toby and Miller.

Jet Lag

This is the best way to help Nina get over jet lag. After a total meltdown this afternoon I don't mind a long snuggle to help her stay asleep tonight. Coffee will be my answer to jet lag tomorrow!
