These days the only way I can change Nina's diaper is if she has a book in her hands. She also loves to read in the car, after nap, and while I'm getting breakfast ready. Let's hope the love of reading continues when she can actually understand the words!
The first time I put bubbles in her bath Nina completely freaked out. Now she loves them and always tries to eat them, naturally. Check out that bubble beard!
With no special plans for the day we improvised by baking some Easter cookies, visiting the nature conservatory in Eden Park, and sharing a picnic-style snack at home. Nina is such a sweetheart and offered me an oyster cracker!
Nina finally discovered the kitchen area, where she can open and close all the cabinets she wants without me telling her "No!" And she can try to munch on pretend toast. Delicious.
Nina is becoming a little dolphin baby with all the time she spends in the pool. She loves kicking her legs and spitting water, and will even float on her back if she can still see Mommy or Daddy above her. She'll be ready for Olympic trials before we know it!
How do you have fun in Cincinnati when spring is just around the corner? Well, if it's sunny you go to the park to watch the ducks and swing. If it's rainy you go for a swim at the JCC and explore the children's museum... At least that's what we do!
