Sheep at School

Our class got to see the art teacher sheering her sheep, Lana. Nina was brave enough to go pet her ear, and she loved touching the soft shorn wool. So many farm animals in one week!

Friends at the Farm

Nina and I had a little day trip out to Wilmington to visit our Shanghai friends Erin and Pearl. We also met Poppy the horse and a couple of cute dogs. A long walk wore Nina out, so she enjoyed a good nap all the way back home.

Passover and Easter

Nina had a big celebration weekend, starting with the Easter egg hunt on Saturday afternoon, then a Passover Seder Saturday night, and finally Easter brunch on Sunday.  She is so lucky to have two cousins with more than enough energy to entertain her.  She was a pro carrying around her Easter basket, and she had nothing but the very best manners at dinner and brunch.  I think she had a great time!

Walking in the park

We got a break in the rain and stopped by what appears to be a big dog park. Nina loved the huge trees and squishy mud. We'll definitely come back when she can scamper through the grass.
