First Haircut

The toddler mullet was driving me crazy so Nina got to visit Nanna's hair salon for her first haircut. She was perfectly patient and let Richard work his magic. It's really not a noticeable difference, but Nina certainly looks less like a rag-a-muffin and more like the sweet little girl that she is.

Riding the School Bus

Today we got to take a tour of a real school bus and even go for a short ride. Nina loved it and even got to sit in the driver's seat!

The specific moment of "first steps" is kind of hard to define, but I would say Nina definitely has accomplished this major milestone. For whatever reason she seems to concentrate better while I'm singing. Either way, she is really on the move now!!

Nina Eats from a Spoon

Nina has been obsessed with taking our cutlery so I finally let her try and feed herself. She usually just grabs the food from the spoon, but sometimes she actually gets it right! Whatever is fastest is how she likes to eat.

Bath Time

Now Nina's hair is so long that it doesn't stand up when we make bubble spikes! She still loves her bath book, and now has fancy toys like empty yogurt tubs and the top half of empty milk jugs. She's happy, it's all good.

Winter Fun

Nina might not realize that her mommy really hates cold weather because we sure do spend time out in it. Our nice jog was on a sunny, 35-degree afternoon, and we hit the swings when the warm front brought the temp up to 40. I decided it was best to stay inside and watch the snow flurries.
