Happy 8 Months

Another month gone by... and she just keeps getting bigger!  Now she has teeth coming in and she can definitely sit by herself for an extended time (as in several minutes, not just a few seconds).  Luckily some things don't change: she still loves her Monkey!  *Secret revealed: the way I got her to smile was by hissing like a snake.  That's her new favorite sound, go figure.

New House

While Nina and I were still in Texas Chris moved us to a new house.  The new place is in a fantastic neighborhood, and we've even found some new toys and a play mat to make Nina feel right at home.  Her new high chair makes her look tiny, but she loves it!

Independent Traveler

Nina demonstrated a new skill this morning: holding her bottle all by herself! I set it in her lap while I was checking in. I looked over and she had picked it up and started drinking all on her own. No fussing, just totally self-sufficient.
