Winter Fun

Nina might not realize that her mommy really hates cold weather because we sure do spend time out in it. Our nice jog was on a sunny, 35-degree afternoon, and we hit the swings when the warm front brought the temp up to 40. I decided it was best to stay inside and watch the snow flurries.

Nina at School

Even though Nina can't walk yet, she's been going to "school" for three weeks! We joined a parent/toddler program one morning a week, and Nina can't get enough: blocks, books, climbing, crawling, snacking, and smiling at her teacher and little friends. I have a feeling it will be an easy transition to real school since she has no interest in playing with Mommy!

Mirror, Mirror

Nina has rediscovered her reflection and is completely fascinated by that girl looking back at her.

Lunch Date

Nina loves being in restaurants so we try to go out once a week. Today we shared a burrito and she finally tried her sippy cup... or at least pretended to.

Big Girl

Nina and I spent spent most of last week at home with colds, but that didn't stop her from climbing right up when she was ready to get out of her crib. Good thing that sleep sack doesn't let her get a leg up and over!

New Toy Shelf!

Nina finally has her first toy shelf! We still have to wait for the cube bins to arrive from Land of Nod, but at least she has a proper place to put her books, animals, rattles, and kitchen tools. And there's still enough space for everything in the shipment from China!
